But while they sort out a claim you will be without your phone, if you are a FoneCare member we will loan you a phone while they arrange a new unit or pay you

Insurance is great and we would recommend you have insurance , but while they sort out a claim you will be without your phone , if you are a Fonecare Member we can, at our discretion, loan you a phone while they arrange a new unit or pay you

Isn’t Fonecare insurance ?

No at Fonecare we are a club, we have members and offer lots of options, but we do not offer insurance, we will not pay you if your phone is lost or stolen. Instead, we have a pool of phones that our members can share between them, at our discresion, when there is an issue with their own.

FoneCare is not an insurance company and is not subject to the same financial regulation requirements as an insurance company.

My phone has a fault what do I do ?

This is where Fonecare membership is so much better than any insurance, contact us and we may be able to issue you with a loan phone and get your device repaired, at our discretion, under warranty or not.

Why don’t I just get my phone repaired under warranty ?

You could of course, you could return your phone to the manufacturer and in a couple of weeks they may return it repaired or they may say the fault is caused by miss use.

But FoneCare members can send their phone to us, get issued a loan phone at our discretion and carry on, we sort out the problems.

I have left my phone in the car , it has been broken into and my phone stolen, will Fonecare cover this ?

No, you need insurance to get a replacement, but as a member we may offer you a loan unit to use while you sort yours out, at our discretion. If your insurance does not cover you, we may make you an offer to keep your loan unit.

But Fonecare members can send their the phone to us, get issued a loan phone at our discretion and carry on, we sort out the problems.

I have used my phone in the rain and now it wont work ?

As a member, bring the phone in and we will attempt to repair the unit for you while you use a loan phone. Your warranty will be invalid, but of course the water damage will have done that anyway. If your phone cannot be repaired we may make you an offer to keep your loan phone, at our discretion.

I have broken my screen what do I do ?

As a member, if you bring your phone into one of our approved repairers, we may be able to have your phone fixed on the spot. If for any reason we are unable to fix yours right away we may offer you a loan phone, at our discretion.

What is the admin fee ?

Every time a member requires a loan or repair we charge an admin fee

How do I cancel my membership ?

Your subscriptions are paid monthly in arrears by direct debit or standing order, please contact your bank and simply stop the payments, we are unable to stop standing orders.

I have forgotten to cancel my membership what do I do ?

Fonecare membership is paid monthly in arrears, if you forget to cancel your membership and let us know within 60 days we will refund your last payment (unless you used your membership for a loan phone in that time).

I cancelled my membership last month but now have a problem with my phone can I still get a loan phone

Unfortunately not, your membership is paid monthly in arrears so if you cancel your payment your membership will have already lapsed once the payment date is missed.
